Andhra Pradesh State has laid out a vision
Develop AP as an Innovation Society of global repute, with a focus on enhancing the Quality of Life of its citizens, through high-quality Education and Healthcare, increased productivity in Agriculture and allied activities, creation of Employment by promoting Electronics and IT, and above all, by providing Good Governance.
The IT and Manufacturing policy of Andhra Pradesh have been designed to help the state realize this vision which have made path for manufacturing clusters and mega IT Hub to be set up in the state. Some of the key highlights include.
- Rebates on cost of land subject to a maximum of 80% of land cost as determined by the allotment agency based on the eligibility of the IT Unit.
- Upto 100% reimbursement of the Stamp Duty, Transfer Duty and Registration Fee paid on sale / lease deeds on the first transaction.
- Entitles subsidies on power bills, patent filing costs, quality certifications.
- Additional rental and investment subsidies to mega projects that can create employment of 5000 or more in span of 5 years.
- Additional rental subsidies, market development cost reimbursements, recruitment/training assistance, performance linked grants, bandwidth subsidies to MSME IT units.
- Assistance to foreign investors to promote accelerated growth of foreign investments in the state.
